I simply could not afford to pay $500 plus shipping for a decent front bumper. Using 3/16" hardboard 1x2 pine and lots of sheetrock screws I created a mockup of this bumper. Then I took it apart and used the pieces as patterns to cut parts from 3/16" and 1/4" steel plate and welded it together. I used 4" pipe for the 2 fog lights.

I'd like to thank my friends at Alaska Foundation Technology in Eagle River. It was their idea to use the schedule 40 pipe instead of the simple eye's that everyone else uses. This works really nice with tow straps.

Yea, I know the grill is upside down!

I'll add new shots once the winch is in.
